License to establish financial and savings bank foundations
Financial and savings bank foundations can be established as a result of a merger or demerger of a financial institution that is not organised as a private limited company or public limited company. A license from the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway is required.

Chapter 12 of the Financial Institutions Act contains information regarding requirements for the application and what should be enclosed.
